Leather dancing shoes

remove coarse dirt with a soft brush

clean your shoes with cleaning products. don´t use water! (danger of water stains!).

afterwards polish the shoes with a soft, lint-free cloth

We advice you against the using of shoe trees, because of the permanent presure
It´s better to fill the shoes with paper. This will keep the shoe in shape and avoids pleats. -
transport your shoes in a shoe bag to avoid scratches on the leather - use our shoe bags for example
lacquer dancing shoes

remove croase dirt with a soft and a little damp cloth

clean the shoes with special lacquer cleaning products
-
afterwards rub the shoes off with a soft lint-free cloth - don´t polish!

satin dancing shoes

stuff the shoes with a shoe tree or tissue paper for cleaning

clean the whole shoe to avoid marks

rub the shoe with a soft sponge and lather (out of mild detergent, wool detergent or shampoo - don´t use corrosive products!)
- first rub the whole shoe with a dump cloth, then treat the stains with a soft sponge
- always use more lather than water
- repeat the process if necessary

you must not brush off satin shoes! the material roughens and looses its shine

the cleaning has to be very careful, wuth dabing moves and a soft cloth
-
don´t damp the shoe stitchings and splices of tapes to much
-
never dry satin shoes with a hair dryer or on a radiator. just let them dry while they are stuffed with a shoe tree or tissue paper
